TSR continues to broaden the adventure game market by developing games to suit a variety of ages and interests. The Alternity(R) science fiction adventure game takes the player to fantastic worlds ranging from modern-day campaigns to far-future space operas. Using elegant, all-encompassing game mechanics and a system that emphasizes character skills and abilities, the Alternity game is fast playing and easy to learn. The Introduction to the Alternity Game boxed set, to be released later this year, is the starting point for learning how to play the Alternity adventure game. It introduces new players to a dynamic science fiction universe where they control the action. TSR also released the Marvel Super Heroes(TM) Adventure Game. With madcap mayhem and action-packed adventures straight from the pages of Marvel comics, The Marvel Universe comes alive in this dynamic adventure game. Simple rules and a wealth of strategy are provided; add imagination and super stunts and delve into the roles of legendary champions of justice and icons of super human ability such as Spider-Man, Wolverine and Iron Man. Players can enhance their campaigns with adventure modules and guides such as Reed Richards Guide to Everything and the X-Men Roster Book.

For 25 years Dungeons & Dragons products have been the benchmark for adventure game excellence. These games have appealed to the ever-expanding population of fans because the focus is not on fierce competition, but on imagination and communal storytelling.

Introduced in 1974, the original Dungeons & Dragons game continues to be played by millions of people worldwide and has led to the creation of the billion-dollar adventure game industry. The game provides rules for interacting in a group-driven, storytelling experience in a fantasy world filled with magic, fierce dragons and brave knights.
